Train through the Lilac field

In life's labyrinthine subway's breath,
Two souls entwined, though fleeting, find their rest.
A man, burdened with life's weary weight,
Encountered solace in a chance, shared seat.

Beside him, a woman with empathic grace,
Offered her heart as an uncharted space.
She listened, as his words unfurled like vines,
Binding their fates in serendipitous lines.

Through the rumble and clatter of the train,
She offered solace, a gentle refrain.
In her eyes, he found a haven's embrace,
A fleeting refuge in this transient space.

Yet he knew that this  train hurtles towards its end,
Their intertwined paths will begin to unbend.
He will reach his stop, a destination clear,
So he leaves behind a whisper, a silent tear.

For in that brief encounter, he found gold,
A stranger's kindness, a story untold.
For though their paths may diverge, his heart will attest,
To the woman on the subway, who offered her best.

To you, this ode, a token of my grace,
In the ebb and flow of life's transient race.
Though you read my life a stranger, our souls entwined,
In the echoes of the subway strangers we may be destined to be, but there our connection is defined.

So dear Lilac🪻
Amidst the rattle and hum of tracks below,
I felt your warmth, a kindness that did show.
Your ears, a haven for my whispered plea,
Oh, stranger, your empathy set me free.

Keep weaving solace with your gentle grace,
A beacon of light in life's frantic pace.
Though our paths may part, your spirit I'll keep near,
Oh, stranger, your kindness, forever sincere.
 Happy birthday royal flower
